A Heart Full of Joy and Gratitude
Hey sweet girls,
I was reading Psalm 100 today and couldn’t help but think of you both. It’s one of the most joyful passages in the Bible—a call to celebrate, worship, and praise God with everything we’ve got.
Here’s what it says:
"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations."
Isn’t that beautiful? It’s a reminder that God made us, loves us, and calls us His own. We’re His sheep, and He’s the best Shepherd, always taking care of us.
Remember the otter story? He’s got the whole world—and us, His family—in His hands. He even knows the number of hairs on our heads! Can you imagine? His thoughts about you are as countless as the grains of sand. Think about that next time you see tiny grains of sand—how many thoughts He has about you!
And you know what else? Our faith only needs to be as small as a mustard seed, and that’s enough to make Him smile. He never lets us go. A little faith in Him, His love, and His promises is all we need.
This psalm reminds me that no matter what’s going on, we can always find something to be thankful for. It’s not just about being happy—it’s about knowing deep down that God is good, His love endures forever, and His promises never run out.
Take this psalm with you today and let it fill your hearts with joy and gratitude. You are so deeply loved, not just by me, but by a God who is always good.
Love you always,
Mom 🌻
